It complements the living room rug beautifully. The living room rug is between 70 and 80 years old. They just don't make them like they used to! ;) Oh, the stories these two rugs could tell! One has been around in 3 different centuries! I wholeheartedly recommend trusting Rug Source for all of your rugs. While you might think that it is better to go into a store (and they have a showroom in Charlotte, NC), I found that being able to search through thousands of rugs and narrow down the search to exactly what I wanted (size, colors, style, age, condition, everything) was a wonderful experience. Pre-1900 Antique 14x18 Kerman Persian Rug

When we purchased a fixer upper to be our eventual retirement home I knew immediately that I would check out the Rug Source for a carpet for the large great room. THe new 10 x 14 Rug that I purchased looked darker in photos - mine as well. it I took a chance because otherwise the color palette was perfect - I just hoped it was a bit lighter. I am beyond happy.
